A prerequisite for cleanroom installation is that all regulations relating to airborne particles are taken into account.

• Installation of touchscreens under clean room conditions up to ISO class 3
• Cleaning and cleanroom-compatible packaging of components before shipment
• Characterization of the component surfaces with regard to particle number and size including measurement protocol
• Test protocol of the particle measurement according to the given specification.

If dust or dirt gets into the interior of the touchscreen, e.g. during optical bounding or assembly, the optics can be significantly impaired.

Likewise, the dust-free bonding of the touchscreen with the carrier plate is decisive for the service life. Even small dirt particles in seals or adhesions can lead to faster fatigue of the material and the associated penetration of liquids or chemicals into the interior.
