Robust and Resistant Touchscreens
The resistance of a touch screen to
-Vandalism -Scratch
- Heat or cold -Humidity
depends heavily on the surface and structure of a touch screen.
Touchscreen design
PCAP, GFG or even more stable. The normal setup of an ULTRA GFG touchscreen is Glas_ _Glas film. PCAP touchscreens also impress with their robust design with the option of choosing between PET and glass.
However, in order to meet different requirements, thicker or even more robust structures are also possible, which can also be equipped with 4-wire or 5-wire resistive touchscreen technology and, in some cases, with projected capacitive technology.
Laminated glass
Laminated glass is particularly resistant. Unattended kiosk systems, such as those in public places, or other vulnerable applications can be further protected by laminated glass
Thickness of the microglass
It's a question of application. In addition to the basic structure, the thickness of the outer microglass of the GFG glass film glass touchscreen or projected capacitive touchscreen can also be varied.
Interelectronix offers two different strengths here. In some applications, it can be advantageous that the touchscreen is even more robust and protected against vandalism and thermal stress.
