Pressure grouting
Press-fit of the components

As a full-service provider, Interelectonix not only manufactures the touchscreen itself, but also supplies ready-to-install touch panels including front panel or housing.

Press-fit is a material-friendly and cost-effective attachment of a touch screen with a front panel without continuous holes. Due to the blind hole mounting used for this purpose, the touchscreen is mechanically firmly inserted into the housing and locked.

Both the touchscreen, the carrier plate and the housing are provided with blind holes. In the next step, a self-clinching fastener with a toothing or special head shape is used, with the help of which the two components can be mechanically connected.

Advantages of press-fit

In contrast to a complete borehole, no damage or curvature of the material occurs during assembly by means of press-fitting, nor are screw heads visible on the surface. Mounting by means of blind holes is particularly advantageous for coated or printed surfaces, as neither the appearance nor the surface is impaired here.

Due to the mechanical locking, this type of fastening is extremely durable and can withstand even extreme loads.

Another advantage of this connection technology is that components can be replaced relatively easily without damaging the material or components and can be reinserted to fit properly.
