Single chip ICs on the cable tail
Simultaneous touchscreen operation
Projective capacitive technology (PCAP) has brought new interactive capabilities to the touchscreen industry.
The simultaneous operation of the screen by several people is not only possible due to the multi-touch technology, but also unsurpassed in precision. The intuitive usability of the projected capacitive touchscreens is able to process intentional gestures and identify unwanted touches.
This requires high-precision controllers that are optimally matched to the application and work permanently error-free
Perfectly shielded
The technology is based on the projection of an electric field onto the surface of the touch screen. Touch causes charge changes, which are measured by the controller to identify the contact point(s).
Chip on tail construction
Our projected capacitive touchscreens are delivered with a so-called chip on tail with I2C/SPI/USB interface to shield the controller
With the chip on tail design, the controller is located directly at the cable outlet and is therefore able to send the signal without interference radiation. The result is a highly sensitive projected capacitive touchscreen that permanently processes all input gestures quickly and error-free.
