High-quality lamination processes for individual touch panels
Interelectronix offers a wide range of films, filters and lamination processes to optimally optimize an open frame touch display for the planned area of application. In the course of an analysis of the future environmental conditions, it is determined whether the additional lamination of a protective film or optical filter can improve the use of the Open Frame Touch Display System.
The films and lamination processes used depend on
- the desired technology (resistive or capacitive),
- the surface (glass or plastic),
- as well as the area of application.
To obtain optimum light transmission, the touch display system is laminated with highly transparent, UV-resistant films with low turbidity.
Cleanroom lamination for best results
Interelectronix always only laminates in the clean room, which prevents dust or dirt from getting under the laminated film and thus impairing the optical properties.
For many applications, for example, a resistive open frame touch display with a continuously closed front structure without dirty edges is required. In industrial use, protection classes up to IP 67 are required. For this reason, it is necessary to design operating devices that can withstand the high stresses caused by
- water jets,
- Steam and -Dirt
defy.
In particular, the surface must be resistant to oil films, solvents, dirt and aggressive chemicals. Another requirement is the tightness of the touch panels against harmful gases.
In case of high soiling
With this touch screen system integration, the full-surface lamination of an optically anti-reflective polyester film takes place via the complete touchscreen and the carrier plate. Paragraphs between the window cutout and the touchscreen no longer occur with full-surface lamination. This process is particularly suitable for applications with a high degree of contamination and favors the cleaning of the touch display.

In addition to a wide variety of finishing techniques based on a foil coating, we also offer the production of shatterproof glass. By bonding special foils with the surface glass, no splintering occurs even if damaged.
