Resistant touchscreens through tensile tests
Due to particularly high-quality bonds, seals and cable connections, Interelectronix 's touchscreens are particularly resistant to any kind of stretching, stretching and bending.
Tensile test on adhesions and seals
The seals, adhesive joints and cable connections of our touchscreens are tested according to all current standards.
Here, the bonding is subjected to special tensile tests. Particular attention is paid to the bonding of the front panel, the back plate and the bezel of the touchscreen in the carrier frame.
All bonding of the touchscreens from Interelectronix complies with the ISO 6922 standard for adhesives.
Depending on the material used and the area of application, foams and gaskets are tested on the basis of the following standards:
- ISO 1798,
- ASTM D 3574,
- ISO 1926,
- ASTM D 1623,
- ISO 527 or the
- ASTM D 638
Tensile test on the cable connection
In addition to extensive tests on the bonding and seals, the cable connection of a touchscreen is tested with the help of a special tensile test. In this case, a cable connection must withstand a tensile force of 4.5 kg for 5 minutes in order to meet the quality requirements of Interelectronix .
All Interelectronix touchscreens can be subjected to special tensile tests as part of the design of a prototype in order to achieve optimal alignment with the expected requirements.
