What is IK10 impact resistance
Impact resistance IK10 is defined in the EN62262 standard, which outlines 12 strength classes, from IK00 (the lowest) to IK11 (the highest).
IK10 represents a shock resistance of 20 joules, equivalent to a 5.0 kg object falling from 0.4 meters. We not only meet IK10 but also achieve the extreme IK11 impact resistance.
This higher resistance is typically obtained through laminated glass construction, even at a total thickness of just 5.8 mm. This means our products offer exceptional durability and protection, ensuring they can withstand significant impacts without compromising performance or safety.
Our commitment to quality ensures reliable and robust solutions for various demanding applications.
